St Hilliers ability to provide contracting services in heritage
restoration and refurbishment as well as new construction was
instrumental in the successful delivery of St Patrick‚Äö?Ñ?¥s Cathedral at
Parramatta. The project involved the demolition of existing redundant
or damaged buildings on the site, the refurbishment of the
heritage-listed church and the construction of a new cathedral to house
a congregation of 800, a new cloister and Parish Hall. St Hilliers
understood that planning and programming of its integrated
construction management services was critical to the success of the
project. Given the very tight site area and the program requirements,
the effective management of off-site procurement was essential for
efficient project delivery.
